About Female Trouble Tattoo

Female Trouble Tattoo is a woman owned tattoo shop in Millvale PA. Cara Cable has been tattooing for 13 years and can do most styles with focus on bold designs that will stand the test of time.

No tattoo too big or small! I offer private appointments as well as walk-in style tattooing, however I do prioritize larger work. We always have snacks and drinks and our “Tattoo Support Pup” Frankie around to offer his paw to hold. Grant Avenue offers an amazing array of small, locally owned shops and restaurants to visit while you’re here. Make a day of it! Millvale is full of eclectic shops and is a walkable neighborhood. Metered parking is abundant on the street, and if you forget quarters I always have some at the shop!

We know that tattooing hasn’t always felt accessible to everyone because of the relaxed and sometimes intimidating environment of a stereotypical tattoo shop experience. We offer a safe space for EVERYONE. We want you to feel comfortable and have the best experience possible!

Your appointment can be as open as you’d like. We can also do a completely private experience behind locked doors and privacy screens. We always ask what your comfort level is with regard to how exposed tattooing can be.

I believe that tattooing is a transformative experience that allows us to have a better relationship with our bodies and ourselves. It’s never just a tattoo. It gives us power. It gives us permission to be who we are. It’s my honor to help people transform and I never take for granted how lucky I am to do this for a living.
